Xiaomi has officially announced the announcement of the Xiaomi 14 series of smartphones to the whole world already on February 25. The Xiaomi 14 series, at least for Europe, will consist of the Xiaomi 14 and probably also the Xiaomi 14 Ultra models. It should be noted here that Xiaomi announced the 14 in China last year, well before Christmas.
The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro smartphone models are the first to get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Xiaomi relies heavily on artificial intelligence in both new smartphones, but let’s see how it looks in real life
The Xiaomi 14 Pro (which could be similar to the European Ultra) has a 6.7-inch LTPO screen with 1-120 Hz and a solid 3000 cd/m² maximum brightness. The regular Xiaomi 14 has a 6.3-inch screen with the same LTPO technology
In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro can boast the help of Leica in their creation. The Xiaomi 14 Pro has the aforementioned variable-aperture camera, and it promises 1,024 positions between the maximum f/1.4 and minimum f/4 apertures, making it very customizable. I don’t know and can’t imagine how exactly this works, because you don’t see such tricks in real cameras.
