We are updating!
After the spread of the leaked information, the creators officially announced the arrival of the game. The information below has been expanded so that those who own the PS4 version of the game can upgrade for $10 Remastered version.
Thanks to previous leaks, its arrival has not been a secret for some time, but based on, among other things, information obtained by phishers, it can already be said with certainty: it will be released in the summer of 2020 in the beginning of 2024. The Last of Us Part II improved version specially optimized for the PlayStation 5 console, which, not surprisingly, is a The Last of Us Part II Remastered was given a title at baptism.
Insider Gaming also knows the release date: January 19, 2024, and the portal also obtained a preview of the yet-to-be-announced game.
The creation of the development team Naughty Dog was one of the last major titles for the PlayStation 4 console, and although the dystopian story can be played on the PlayStation 5 consoles launched in the fall of 2020, no version of the game has been made so far (apart from an update that enabled the 60 frame image refresh per second), which would fully utilize the hardware in Sony’s next-generation console, which is much more powerful than its predecessor.
This is replaced by the one arriving in January Remastered version, which can already be said for sure that it will be available for PC sometime in the near future. The information that has just come to light, however, does not contain any related details.
But what changes?
According to the information extracted from the PlayStation database, the game will be even more beautiful than the basic game, 4K resolution will be available in Fidelity Mode (the image update in this case is unknown), loading times will be shortened and the program will be used alongside the PlayStation 5 developed all the capabilities of the DualSense console. In addition, a new rouge-like game mode (No Return) will be available, tracks cut from the base game will be available to try, and the program will also be played through with the developer’s commentary.
It is not yet known how much Sony will ask for all this.
The announcement of the renewed version is not surprising in light of the fact that it was originally released in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and inspired the TV series of the same name. The Last of Us also received its own turbocharged versions. First, a new version of it was made for PlayStation 4, and then in 2022 the The Last of Us Part I Remasteredfirst for PlayStation 5 (this version turned out to be excellent), then a little later for PC – the latter edition, however, caused a scandal when it was released, because it represented such poor quality.
