According to the company that operates Temu, Temu does not violate any laws. As previously reported by 24.hu, the Hungarian traders recently filed a complaint against the popular webshop at the Economic Competition Authority (GVH), but they did not specify what exactly they are accusing.
The accused party has now also responded to the news, sending the following statement to hwsw:
Temu is determined to comply with the legal regulations of every country in which it operates.
The company was also previously contacted by and told them the following about the data theft allegations: “Temu collects information for the sole purpose of providing and improving an e-commerce service to its users.” The almost unbelievably cheap products were explained by the fact that they are in direct contact with the manufacturers, so they can offer the goods to their customers at wholesale prices.
