From today, the “Wolt” platform and delivery services are also available in Ādaži and Baltezeras. During this year, the technology company has rapidly expanded its operations outside of Riga and now offers its services in 13 different Latvian cities. With the addition of Ādaži and Baltezera, the number of cities in “Wolt” Latvia is the largest among the Baltic countries.
“During this year, “Wolt” has grown from 5 to 13 cities in Latvia and cooperates with more than 1,500 courier partners in order to give an ever-increasing part of Latvia’s population the opportunity to quickly and conveniently receive the desired product or meal at a place and time convenient for them. We see that by developing our service in smaller cities as well, we can provide local entrepreneurs with convenient online trading, give residents the opportunity to earn income as courier partners, and also make the everyday life of the city’s guests and residents easier.” explains Mantas Lomsargis, manager of “Wolt” in the Baltics.
According to M. Lomsargis, in the first years of Wolt’s operation in Latvia, the decision to expand the company’s operations in new cities was made based on such criteria as the number of inhabitants, the size of catering and retail stores, etc. Currently, the vision of development in smaller cities has also changed. “We see that the most essential condition for the development of any business is understanding the changing habits of the population. Convenient and technologically advanced services are not only desired by the residents of big cities, but almost everyone, so we are developing the service both in new cities and also expanding the existing territories, for example, from October, within the city of Ogre, we will also deliver to Ikškilė,” adds the manager of “Wolt” in the Baltics.
Along with the significant expansion of “Wolt”, the number of companies that cooperate with “Wolt” in several cities is also increasing. For example, the Kebab Factory company currently offers quick deliveries through “Wolt” in three cities of Latvia, indicating that an essential condition for long-term cooperation is constant service quality. “We have been cooperating with Wolt for more than 6 years, because thanks to a carefully developed system on the platform, the customer receives his order in the expected time and the quality of our meal is not affected. We are pleased that now with the delivery of “Wolt” we will be able to provide our prepared food and special offers in three cities – Riga, Sigulda and Ādaži!” Kebab Factory manager Edgars KroĖeris talks about the cooperation with the platform so far.
From today, orders can be placed through the “Wolt” platform not only in Ādaži and Baltezeras, but also in the neighboring areas of the cities – Kadaga, Alderos, Priedkalne and Bukultos.
In honor of the opening of the new city, new users of the “Wolt” platform are given a 7 euro discount on their first order with the code “ADAZI”. Also, some of the new cooperation partners – restaurants, cafes and sales outlets – will have various special offers for specific categories of goods and food, as well as delivery costs.
“Wolt” services are now available in thirteen Latvian cities – Riga, Jūrmala, Liepaja, Jelgava, Daugavpils, Ventspils, Valmiera, Rēzekne, Jēkabpils, Ogre, Salaspils, Sigulda and Ādaži – giving residents the opportunity to order various meals, retail and food products from more than 900 restaurants and 570 outlets across the country.
