Discounts on the cost of airline tickets for all residents in Sicily. This is the Schifani government’s strategy to counter the high cost of flights and make it easier for Sicilians who have until now been forced to suffer the surge in prices, especially during the high season and holidays. Passengers resident on the island will be able to benefit from a 25 percent reduction on the cost of each individual route. The discount will reach 50 percent for the so-called priority categories. The initiative will start as early as December.
