Cryptoassets are mentioned in 1,428 declarations of Ukrainian officials for 2022, reports the Opendatabot service. This is almost double compared to 2021.
As you can see in the graph below, the number of declarations that mention cryptoassets is constantly growing. The first significant jump occurred in the period 2018-2019:
Among the top 3 assets are Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Tether USDt (USDT). The top five is completed by Ripple (XRP) and Shiba Inu (SHIB). It is noteworthy that more than half of all assets are occupied by various altcoins and memcoins.
The largest Bitcoin hodler among Ukrainian officials is Deputy of the Odessa Regional Council Nikita Kuzkevich. He indicated 121 BTC in the document.
In terms of Ethereum, the largest owner is the deputy of the Podolsk district council of the Odessa region, Igor Osipov. He indicated in the declaration that he owns 1800 ETH.
The leader in Tether USDt is the Deputy Head of the Department of the Office of the Prosecutor General Vitaly Brovko. He owns 774,500 USDT.
