The judge held that the Codacons and Carlo Rienzi are entitled to join as civil parties and therefore that they have suffered damage e postponed the hearing to May 6 at 1.30 pm because Fedez asked to be questioned”. This is what Adnkronos learns about the hearing that was held this morning before the Gup of the Court of Rome, Marisa Mosetti, to decide on the Fedez’s indictment for the rcrime of slander against Codacons. At the center of the story – as Codacons explains in a note – the accusations made by the rapper to the consumer association about amisleading banner published in 2020 on the Codacons website on the subject of coronavirus, accusations deemed completely illegitimate and unfounded by the Rome Prosecutor’s Office who has now asked the Court to try Fedez for slander. ”On May 6th – explains Codacons – Fedez will be heard and then a decision will be made on the indictment. The rapper will then appear in court to be subjected to questions from the lawyers, obviously including ours, Claudio Coratella”, he concludes.
