The wife of the 39th president of the United States, Rosalynn Carter, died at the age of ninety-six. Rosalynn Carter has devoted her public life to important social causes, including health, human rights, social justice, and programs supporting the needs of the elderly. He was also a member of the government committee aimed at improving services for the mentally ill.

“Rosalynn was my equal partner in everything. I received wise guidance and encouragement from him when I needed it. As long as Rosalynn was in this world, I always knew that someone loved me and supported me,” Jimmy Carter said.
