The Pole will finish for the second year in a row in the first world position, Iga winning six tournaments in 2023, one of which is the Grand Slam: Roland Garros. He had 68 wins and 11 losses. He collected $9,857,686 from this year’s tennis prizes alone.
Aryna Sabalenka
Aryna Sabalenka fulfilled two of her big goals in 2023: winning a Grand Slam (Australian Open) and occupying the 1st place in the world (relinquished after the end of the Champions Tour). He had 55 wins and 14 losses.
She also played in the US Open final, and this season she became the first player since Serena Williams in 2016 to reach the semifinals of every Grand Slam tournament of the year. He collected $8,202,653 in tennis prizes this season.
Coco Gauff
At the age of 19, Coco Gauff had the best year of her career so far: she won her first Grand Slam (US Open) and prevailed, among others, in Washington and Cincinnati. He had 51 wins and 16 losses. He collected only from tennis prizes in 2023 the sum of $6,669,622.
Jessica Pegula
Jessica Pegula finished for the second consecutive year in the world TOP 5. He played in the finals of the Tournament of Champions and won in Montreal and Seoul. He finished the season with 59 wins and 18 losses. In addition, she was once the world leader in doubles. He collected $5,967,890 in 2023 from tennis prizes alone.
Elena Rybakina
Elena Rybakina played the final at the Australian Open, and then had 13 consecutive victories in the current season. He won Indian Wells and lost in the final in Miami. He also won in Rome and finished the year on 4. He collected $5,493,437 in tennis prizes in 2023.
Marketa Vondrousova
Marketa Vondrousova offered one of the biggest surprises: she won the title at Wimbledon, the first major tournament conquered in her career. In September, Marketa climbed up to 7th, after a year ago it was on 124th WTA. He collected $4,473,278 this season.
