CSM Bucharest achieved another victory in the groups of the Champions League in women’s handball, score 31-28 at home against Bietigheim, and the direct qualification for the quarters will be played in the last round.

The students coached by Adi Vasile retain their chances for direct qualification in the quarter-finals of the Champions League after the victory at home against those from Bietigheim.

After a 7-goal lead at halftime, the Tigresses slowed down in the second half, ending the game with a difference of just three goals.

For the Romanian champion, Cristina Neagu with six successes and Arntzen with five were the main scorers.

The win keeps CSM third in Group A and needs a last-gasp win over Odense to clinch second place, which leads directly to the Champions League quarter-finals.
