Zelenski is planning a tour of Western European countries to ask for more armed aid

President Volodymyr Zelensky may soon visit several Western European capitals to urge them to increase aid to Ukraine amid a slowdown in US funding, Bloomberg reports, according to Ukrainian Pravda.

Bloomberg’s sources said that Zelenskiy’s visits to European capitals could take place as he attends the February 16-18 Munich Security Conference.

Zelenskiy will likely visit Paris and Berlin as part of the trip, Bloomberg’s sources say, noting that the plans are not confirmed. A visit to London is also being discussed.

Bloomberg’s sources added that Zelenskiy plans to focus on military aid and signing security guarantee agreements.

Presidential visits are never announced in advance for security reasons and there has been no official confirmation from any of the countries concerned.

There were reports last week that Zelenski would make his third visit to Germany since the start of Russia’s large-scale aggression.
